So I began feeling a little overwhelmed with all I want to get done this week, so now I’m prioritizing. Lately, I’ve been learning tricks to use rewards with weight loss, exercise, and making better decisions. Now, I’m applying those to another area. I’m prioritizing what I need to get done, but then I’m giving myself rewards for following through and getting those things done. Rewards are healthy and fun – like going someplace for photos.
I’m getting excited about taking this approach and am looking forward to this week. Not only should I be in a much better frame of mind, but I will have made progress towards my goals and be in a much better position going forward.
Of course, I just keep telling myself that it’s all about getting ready. Fast-tracking achieving my goals requires focus, and being a writer means that putting it in words keep that focus.
